Welcome 2025

It is the third day of 2025. How are you feeling?

If you could choose a color to describe how you are feeling, what would that color be?

Pale pink would be the color for me, just like the cherry blossoms that bloom in the Spring. A color that signifies my readiness to come out of shell (or bud) and face the sunshine. Embrace life and grow in its warmth.

What about you?

With a new year comes a new start. An opportunity to set new goals or restart old ones. Sometimes it is hard to think of today as a gift, but it is. There are so many people in the world that have so much less than us. I know because I was one of those people.

This year, I am working on creating a vision board. A picture board where I see all of my goals in one place.

Have you ever created one? You can create a free one from Canva. It is a great way to manifest your vision and goals into reality.

What are some of your goals, if any? For me, it is health, wealth and travel. To write more and continue to advocate for the Khmer Krom people.

If you feel unprepared for 2025, that is okay. It came and went pretty fast. Here are six questions you can ask yourself if you want to take a moment to reflect.

I hope you will find the time to pause, reflect and find joy in all that you do.

  2. Hi, Sothy! I’ve been working with a beautiful shimmery royal blue all day in my marketing role, and I’m feeling that color. To me, it signals freshness, zest, and sparkles of joy — and that’s how I plan to approach 2025. I love the fresh start a new year offers. I hope I can make the most of it — and myself — as the days continue to fly by. Thanks for sharing! Keep writing!
